Foreign Exchange (2008)

Four high school seniors look forward to coasting towards graduation in FOREIGN EXCHANGE, a teen sex comedy in the vein of AMERICAN PIE. The antsy kids intend to take the easiest classes, and otherwise occupy their time playing host to the school's sexy new exchange students; in the end, however, the best laid plans (and best plans to get laid) end up thwarted by love, grades, and nosiest of adults.
“Foreign Exchange” 2008 This movie is about four high school friends, Dave (Ryan Pinkston), Jay (Randy Wayne), Shantz (Daniel Booko), and Hashime (Miles Thompson). All four boys are entering their senior year in highschool and they plan on taking easy courses and go to college together at Ohio State, after they graduate. The four boys end up involved in the foreign exchange program. All four of them house a student from a foreign country and face different obstacles in their life along the way. Dave struggles with his love for Robin (Vanessa Lengies), Jay is a player, Shantz can’t seem to keep up his grades, and Hashime has a tough time deciding whether or not to take his scholarship and stray away from his friends. All four boys soon realize that their last high school year will not be as easy as they first thought.

Transformers (2007)

A long time ago, far away on the planet of Cybertron, a war was being waged between the noble Autobots (led by the wise Optimus Prime) and the devious Decepticons (commanded by the dreaded Megatron) for control over the Allspark, a mystical talisman that would grant unlimited power to whoever possessed it. The Autobots managed to smuggle the Allspark off the planet, but Megatron blasted off in search of it. He eventually tracked it to the planet of Earth (circa 1850), but his reckless desire for power sent him right into the Arctic Ocean, and the sheer cold forced him into a paralyzed state. His body was later found by Captain Archibald Witwicky, and before going into a comatose state Megatron used the last of his energy to engrave a map, showing the location of the Allspark, into the Captain's glasses, and send a transmission to Cybertron. He is then carted away by the Captain's ship. A century later, Sam Witwicky, nicknamed Spike by his friends, buys his first car. To his shock, he discovers it to be Bumblebee, an Autobot in disguise who is to protect Spike, as he bears the Captain's glasses and the map carved on them. But Bumblebee is not the only Transformer to have arrived on Earth - in the desert of Qatar, the Decepticons Blackout and Scorponok attack a U.S. military base, causing the Pentagon to send their special Sector Seven agents to capture all "specimens of this alien race," and Spike and his girlfriend Mikaela find themselves in the middle of a grand battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons, stretching from Hoover Dam all the way to Los Angeles. Meanwhile, within the depths of Hoover Dam, the cryogenically stored form of Megatron awakens... Written by Sivaji IMDBoss - Corrected By C.N.L.

Hackers Are People Too [2008]

Hacking vindicated! Within the computing, hobbyist, creative design, and invention communities, as elsewhere, hacking has always been a positive thing, but the media and the less than knowledgeable computer security community co-opted the term and the concept, and the media embraced it because it was easier to tell than the truth. But now the misnomer has been torn away by the honesty of a new filmmaker, Ashley Schwartau, who has taken the direct approach to getting at the truth. Observe and ask the people involved. And the truth looks more like students in engineering school and their adult counterparts who never gave up the vision of rugged individualism combined with a sense of community that brought the world out of ignorance and into the information age. Enlighten yourself, and watch this movie. Then send your kids to join the industrious, interested, amazed, joyous, freeing crowd of investigative inventors in the Internet and elsewhere - the hackers! --Fred Cohen
